LIMITED WARRANTY

 

Craftmatic has selected the finest manufacturer of bed parts to manufacture the bed frames and mechanisms of the Craftmatic Adjustable Bed. Special care has gone into the design and construction of the motors, gears, controls and electrical system.

 

ONE (1) YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

 

WHAT IS COVERED:

The elements of the bed frame, motors, gears, controls and electrical system are warranted, to it's original owner to be free of factory defect in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of delivery.

 

Craftmatic will replace or repair, at its sole option, free of charge for parts and labor any defective mechanism(s) during the initial one (1) year period. Except for unusual repairs, all repairs and replacements will be made at the place of delivery (your home).

 

Repairs and/or replacements made after the expiration of the one (1) year warranty period are made available at the then prevailing parts and labor charges.

 

WHAT IS NOT COVERED:

This Limited Warranty does not apply to any defect caused by customer misuse, accident, damage in transit or handling by customer, burning or unauthorized repair.

 

LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY

CRAFTMATIC MONACO, CRAFTMATIC MODEL I & CRAFTMATIC MODEL II ADJUSTABLE BEDS

 

 

CRAFTMATIC INTERNET SALES in addition to all warranties provided, WARRANTS for the LIFETIME of the original purchaser, the level changer mechanism system and the massage system. Craftmatic Internet Sales. will replace or repair, at its sole discretion and free of charge, any defective motors.  At the customer's option the motors may be repaired or replaced in the customer's home by Craftmatic Internet Sales at the prevailing labor rates or shipped to a licensed electrician or medical supply company for installation at the customer's expense.  This Limited Warranty does not include any responsibility for installation, service call (labor) or shipment charges, which are the responsibility of the customer.

This Warranty does not apply to any motor subject to customer misuse, accident, damage in transit or handling after initial delivery, unauthorized repair or burning.

 

ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE SHELL BE LIMITED TO THE TERM OF THE EXPRESS WARRANTY SET FORTH HEREIN.  WE DISCLAIM LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.

 

Some states do no allow the exclusions or limitations of incidental or consequential damages and some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so that the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.

 

This Warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

 

 

TWENTY FIVE (25) YEAR PRO-RATA LIMITED MATTRESS

and FOUNDATION WARRANTY

 

Craftmatic mattresses are specialty designed to be used with an adjustable bed. Craftmatic has selected the finest manufacturers of mattresses to construct the Craftmatic Adjustable Mattress.

 

WHAT IS COVERED:

Craftmatic warrants to the original owner each mattress and foundation sold by it to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of twenty five (25) years from the date of delivery.

 

Craftmatic will replace or repair, at its sole option, the mattress or foundation for a period of twenty five (25) years from the date of delivery to the original owner.

 

WHAT DOES PRO-RATA MEAN:

During the first year of the Limited Warranty, the replacement or repair shall be free of charge for parts, labor and delivery to your home. Between the second (2^nd) and twenty fifth (25^th) year Craftmatic shall, at its sole option, repair or replace the mattress or foundation, making a pro rata charge from the original date of delivery. The replacement cost of the mattress or foundation will be divided by 300 (the full 25 years stated in months) and then multiplied by the expired months of the warranty.

 

Beginning with the second (2^nd) year, you may, at your option, have the mattress and/or foundation inspected for repair or replacement: (1) in your home, by Craftmatic, at the then prevailing service call (labor) charges; or (2) by delivering the material (prepaid by you) back to Craftmatic. Repairs and/or replacements made after the expiration of the one (1) year warranty period are made available at the then prevailing parts and labor charges.

 

WHAT IS NOT COVERED:

This Limited Warranty does not apply to any defect caused by customer misuse, accident, damage in transit or handling by customer, burning, soiling, any unauthorized repair, mattress depression 1-1/2 inches or less, or perceived lack of comfort.

 

WHAT IF I HAVE A WARRANTY CLAIM:

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS GIVEN BY AND IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF CRAFTMATIC INTERNET SALES.
